Our firm is inviting applications from current law students or those who have completed the Bar Finals/Certificate in Legal Practice but are awaiting results, for attachment at our firm. If you have shown a consistently high level of academic achievement throughout your university studies and can demonstrate the ability, ambition and enthusiasm to excel in litigation then we are interested in hearing from you.

The intent of the programme is to give law students exposure to what goes on in the daily life of a litigation lawyer. Attachment students can therefore expect attendance at meetings, court proceedings, pre-trial conferences and to undertake tasks normally performed by a lawyer in practice such as letter writing, opinion writing, research and the preparation of legal documents.

The programme will run for a period of one month. Requests for alternative dates, shorter or longer periods will be considered. An allowance between RM500 and RM1,000.00 can be expected.

Applications must be accompanied by a recent photograph and a curriculum vitae which must state the following information:

•  The year of study the student is in.
•  The applicants' preferred area of practice.
•  Grades and subjects done for the LLB/Bar Finals/CLP to date. It is however not necessary to specify 'A' level or other pre-university
   results.
•  When the student is available for interview and an email address for communication.
