An enriching work environment
Sivananthan has an annual intake of approximately 5 to 10 pupils.

Our aim
We aim to provide pupils with the tools for a legal career.

We have an 'open door' policy. We encourage pupils to interact with lawyers and partners on a first name basis as part of their induction into the profession.

What we look for - Good lawyers are not always first class students. Whilst grades are important, they are not everything. We want lawyers who can think out of the box, provide practical and commercial solutions and are sensitive to our clients' needs. We take a wholesome approach when looking at the candidate/applicant.

Pupils can expect to be in the thick of action; assisting on files; attend court, negotiations or clients' meetings, and get to experience first hand what makes a career in litigation fulfilling.

Pupillage Package
We offer the following package:

•  Competitive remuneration and allowance during Pupillage of up to RM1,800.00
•  Full subsidy of the fees payable to obtain the Practicing Certificate so long as the pupil completes Pupillage with the firm;
•  Payment for stamp fees for court papers required for admission to the Bar

Medical coverage and hospitalisation benefits.
